Supertables

I love superheroes. I love generators. But man, do I hate mile-long compendiums of every single thing in existence under a particular heading, and then having to flip back and forth between page 13 and 47, and still being shackled to the dictations of tables.

So instead of having an omniscient superpower encyclopedia, I thought it would be nice to make something that would be capable of producing a whopping 1,296 different outputs, while still giving plenty of opportunity for interpretation and customization — all spawned from just 4 tables.

Supertables is pretty much just that: a collection of tables, with some structures connecting them, which you can use to create powers and contexts for characters in a superhero setting. It's not a game... or maybe it is. Or maybe it's a part of a game. Call it what you will, and it will be that thing. (As long as it involves generating superpowers.)
